Do you have a favourite poutine restaurant in Victoria? Tastebud Guides is seeking contributions for a collaborative eBook guide to Victoria’s Poutine scene.

Tastebud Guides is an eBook food guide publishing platform to help guide food lovers to fantastic local food. Guides are written by members of the local food community with a deep knowledge and passion about their topic. Information is presented in a user-friendly, crossed referenced way, making use of the features of eBook technology. The inagural guide, Local Flavour: Victoria 2012, was released in May an is currently available from apple, kindle & kobo bookstores.

The poutine mini-guide will compare and contrast the different takes on fries + sauce + cheese that are available in the city. Contributions will be edited together into an eBook format and be made available for free on eBookstores (iBookstore, Kobobookstore & Kindle Store) in English speaking countries. While some restaurants, like the classic poutine at La Belle Patate and Big Wheel Burger and the pulled-pork poutine at Pig BBQ Joint, have already been reserved by poutine fans plenty of restaurants with delicious and creative takes on ‘poutine’ are still waiting to be reserved. Deadline to save your favourite is July 31st.
